Three Proposals for the Purpose of the Body of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:9, 3:9-11     

    I propose it's for the Purpose of:
1. Pleasing the Saviour
    Col1:10 …unto all pleasing…
    
    2Ti 2:4 ... that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
    1Co 12:18 …God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

    I propose it's for the Purpose of:
2. Preaching the Scripture
    Col1:28 …which was preached
    
    2Ti 4:1-4 …I charge thee therefore…Preach the word
    1Cor1:21…it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching…


    I propose it's for the Purpose of:
3. Perfecting the Saints
    Col4:12 ...that ye may stand perfect...
    
    2Tim3:16-17…that the man of God may be perfect…
    Eph4:11-13 …for the perfecting of the saints…
